Connect Hypnobirthing & coronavirus update:
At the present time I am unable to confirm if our in person hypnobirthing courses from April onwards will be able to take place. This will be updated on the best available evidence and government guidance. However in the event we cannot meet in person I would like to offer you to join me at the same time (12-5pm each day), via zoom. We will this way be able to connect and chat openly as a group, making the same important friendship connections. I’d encourage you as a couple to be ready to engage, discuss, debate and plan your births. We will keep our outlook positive and connect with our baby’s. The session plan will remain unchanged, and you will have access to the same support ongoing.
These online courses will be available to watch back and you will be able to access all the same online resources. I will be delivering to your door your gift pack with your physical resources and additional materials worth over £60!
What is hypnobirthing?
Why is Hypnobirthing becoming more mainstream? Are calm and relaxed, more informed and in control births more appealing?
Common misconceptions about Hypnobirthing are that it is for those who wish to go drug and intervention free: Hypnobirthing can work very well alongside the comfort measures you choose to use for your birth, it can help you stay calm and relaxed during an induction process, a medicalised birth (for whatever reason) and during a caesarean.
During my Hypnobirthing course, I help you feel prepared for the choices you may possibly have to make so you can stay calm and in control.
So if you choose to have a drug free birth with no interventions you remain focussed, but if things change, you feel prepared for them.
This is a FULL antenatal preparation course, run over a weekend. You will make fantastic friends, develop that support network for after you’ve had your baby early, and leave feeling really positive about your remaining time in pregnancy and birth.
What makes us stand out?
I offer a full antenatal course, taught by myself, a Midwife with experience in caseloading, homebirth and delivery suite. In my time as a Midwife I have also cared for mum’s who have experienced induction of labour, and planned caesarean births. As a community midwife I have given much postnatal breastfeeding and sleep support.
Fully trained in Rebozo, breech birth, pregnancy massage, hypnobirthing and relaxation support. In the course I bring all of these together so it is designed specially to support you, no matter what turns your pregnancy or birth journey takes.
I recommend taking a course anytime from 20 weeks of pregnancy to give you plenty of time to prepare, you will have continual contact and support so won’t forget your learning!
All course fees shown reflect the online element of teaching and have been reduced by over 25% to reflect studio hire savings. Please know this is a live online course with constant interactive involvement by YOU!

We attended Alice’s 5-week course and what a great preparation it was. The course was well organised and Alice took the time to make sure that it was tailored to the needs of all the participants. She brings a wonderful calmness to her teaching alongside her expertise and goes above and beyond what could possibly be expected in terms of support. We didn’t get the birth we’d hoped for, unfortunately, but we were still able to use the techniques Alice taught us to deal with the birth that we did experience. I can’t recommend her highly enough.
